Foster Youth Pathways to Autonomy, Resilience and Empowerment
A literature search was conducted on the psychological and educational models that foster the autonomy of care leavers and it was observed how these are applied within the care facilities that receive minors outside the family. A literature synthesis on these models, produced by the partner countries, was then drawn up in order to observe how their application in the care facilities can bring the children to a level of autonomy, resilience and empowerment that can give them the possibility of facing an independent life once they have left care.
